Hi, I’m Lucy

I’m a cat behaviourist, author and have always been fascinated about cats. Not just the adorable, purry ones curled up on your lap, but also the complicated ones, the high maintenance ones and the ones who’s behaviour seems to make no sense at all.

Unfortunately we don’t speak cat and they don’t speak human, so I’ve dedicated my career to working out what they are trying to tell us through their behaviour. Why they ignore the litter tray and pee on the bed. Why two bonded cats suddenly decide they can’t stand each other. Why they want cuddles one minute and bite you the next.

I’ve spent over 15 years working this out and this is how we stop your cat’s unwanted behaviours. Cats deserve to be understood.

A little bit about my experience:

I have an MSc in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton and I’m a fully accredited feline behaviourist (Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC), Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC) and Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB)). Over the years, I’ve helped cats and their people with all sorts of behaviour challenges, from aggression and anxiety to toileting issues and complicated relationships between cats.

I’m also a published author and my work has taken me into TV, radio, podcasts and the press, where I’m lucky enough to share what I’ve learned about our feline friends.

I never stop learning, every cat I meet teaches me something new - that’s one of the things I love the most about my job.

I know how much your cat means to you, because I feel exactly the same about mine. They’re family and every one is unique. If something isn’t quite right, I want to help you understand what’s going on - without judging you or your cat. I don’t think there’s such a thing as a “bad cat”, just a cat trying to tell us something.
