Cat Behaviour Advice Sessions
Sometimes you just need someone to talk things through with.
Living with a cat can be wonderfully rewarding… but it can also leave you scratching your head.
Perhaps your kitten just will not stop climbing your curtains. Maybe you’re wondering if your cat is happy? Perhaps you're introducing a new cat and would like some guidance before you take the next step.
Whatever it is, you're welcome here and I’m very happy to help.
Not every question needs a full behaviour consultation, and sometimes a friendly conversation with an experienced feline behaviourist is all it takes to give you clarity and confidence.
That's exactly what these Advice Sessions are for.
What is an Advice Session?
An Advice Session is a relaxed, 45-minute Zoom appointment where we can chat about your cat, what's been happening, and any questions you have.
There's no judgement, no pressure, and no such thing as a silly question.
Whether you're looking for reassurance, practical advice or someone to help you understand your cat's behaviour a little better, I'm here to help.
Afterwards, I'll send you a written summary of everything we've discussed and my recommendations, so you don't need to worry about remembering it all.
This session might be right for you if...
You have one or two questions about your cat's behaviour.
You're looking for advice for smaller issues that are concerning you.
You'd like help understanding why your cat is behaving the way they are.
You'd like some reassurance that you're doing all the right things for your cat.
Some of the things we might talk about include:
Introducing a new cat or kitten.
Scratching furniture.
Litter tray best practices and set up.
Play, enrichment and boredom issues.
Building confidence in nervous cats.
Understanding normal feline behaviour.
General cat care and behaviour questions.
If, after we've had a chat, I feel your cat would benefit from a more in-depth behaviour consultation instead, I'll always tell you honestly. My priority is helping you find the support that's right for you and your cat.
What’s included?
Your Advice Session includes:
A 45-minute Zoom consultation.
Personalised advice based on your cat and your situation.
Time to ask questions.
A written summary of the advice we've discussed.
Price: £150
When is a full behaviour consultation a better fit?
Some behaviour concerns need a little more time to properly understand.
If your cat is showing aggression, toileting outside the litter tray, experiencing significant fear or anxiety, or you're dealing with a more complex or long-standing behaviour problem, a Full Behaviour Consultation will usually give us the time and support needed to get to the root of what's happening.
If you're not sure which service is the best fit, don't worry. Just get in touch and I'll happily point you in the right direction.
